March 1-31 -Reflections of Ireland: Music and Landscapes at the John J. Burns Library, Boston College Campus. 300 Hammond Street, Chestnut Hill. Artist Richard Tommey's portraits of Boston-based Irish musicians is on display through the month. March 7-April 6 -Huntington Theatre Presents: Shining City by Conor McPherson at the Boston University Theatre 264 Huntington Ave., Boston. Irish playwright Conor McPherson took London and Broadway by storm with his critically acclaimed Shining City, nominated for 3 Tony Awards including best play. March 7 -Camerata Ireland at NEC's Jordan Hall 30 Gainsborough Street, Boston, $28 - $42 | 8:00 p.m. Led by conductor, piano soloist and artistic director Barry Douglas, this 30-piece chamber orchestra is comprised entirely of Irish musicians. It has attracted worldwide notice for its enthralling performances full of sensuality, charm and electricity. Pipes, drums and highland dancers perform music of Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales, producing a grand martial spectacle that is moving and unforgettable, especially as performed by the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and The Band of the Coldstream Guards . The band is Scotland's senior regiment and her only regular cavalry, famous for their outstanding Pipes and Drums performances worldwide.

March 9-17 -Gaelic Gourmet Gala Week in Boston Various locations. View schedule on www.IrishMassachusetts.com. The Boston Irish Tourism Association's 4th annual Gaelic Gourmet Week celebrates the culinary delights of America's most Irish city. Celebrity chefs from Boston team up with visiting master chefs from Ireland for a weeklong movable feast at local hotels like the Omni Parker House, Jurys Boston, Seaport Boston and Hotel Commonwealth, and famous sites like the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.

From the man who brought you The Irish Tenors comes this exciting new show featuring a full orchestra, large chorus and three fantastic soloists from Ireland. March 14 -Cocktail reception featuring Lóchrann of Limerick. At Boston College's Alumni House, Newton Campus, 825 Center Street, Newton MA. From 6-8 p.m. six students from Limerick will perform music and traditional songs from Ireland. Donation: $25 per person.

March 14 -Saint Elizabeth Parish Irish Social event. From 7 -11 p.m. music will be provided by John Connors and the Irish Express. Tickets are available from the St. Elizabeth Rectory, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton, or by calling 617-696-6686.

March 15 -Buffet Lunch/Concert featuring Lóchrann at the Worcester Hibernian Culture Center, 19 Temple Street, Worcester. From noon to 3 p.m., the students will perform for Worecester. Donations are requested at $50 a person.

March 15 - St. Patrick's Day brunch at Doyle's Café. Honored guests will include Sile deValera (Former Minister for Arts, Heritage & Gaeltach), Raymond Flynn (former Mayor of Boston and U.S Ambassador to the Vatican), and Paul Goggins (Minister of State, Northern Ireland Office).
