St. Brigid of Ireland was born around 453AD at Faughart, Co Louth, Ireland. She is one of the patron saints of Ireland and is affectionately known as "The Mary of the Gael." Her feast day is February 1st which is also one of the first days of Spring in Ireland and the beginning of Imbolc, one of the cornerstones of the Celtic Calendar.
Join the IPC for a craft workshop (learn how to make a St. Brigid's Cross), celebration of Mass, and a supper in honor of St. Brigid.
