TIARA- The Irish Ancestral Research Assocation mointhly meeting
By Ed Forry, January 26, 2012
Have you found a Forester ancestor? UMass Boston would like to record you giving a brief description of your find!
Joanne Riley and a team from UMass will be at Boston College at 6:00pm on Feb. 10th - just before our TIARA meeting.
You are invited to bring a photo of your ancestor or an interesting section of your ancestor's Mortuary Record. Joanne will scan your photo or section of your Foresters application and record a 2-3 minute video with you describing your ancestor and your Foresters find. These videos will be shown at the March 14 "Calling the Heart Back Home" event at UMass Boston. Parts of your ancestors record could also appear in an exhibit. Please get in touch with Susan Steele ForestersProject@tiara.ie to schedule your video appointment on Feb. 10th.
TIARA (The Irish Ancestral Research Association) is a non-profit organization established to develop and promote the growth, study and exchange of ideas among people and organizations interested in Irish genealogical and historical research and education. Our monthly meetings educate and entertain our members, as well as foster interaction with other Irish researchers. We do NOT provide individual genealogical research services.
