Irish American Partnership Announces A Return To In-Person Events

After a year of virtual events and Zoom conferences, the Irish American Partnership is ready to return to in-person events.

It’s been over a year since we’ve had the experience of a live event. The Partnership’s pivot to digital experiences in front of the green screen was a great opportunity to show the impact of our wonderful donors on communities throughout Ireland, and hear from some incredible speakers like 7th President of Ireland, Mary Robinson, Editor-in-Chief of Glamour, Samantha Barry, Permanent Representative of Ireland to the United Nations, Ambassador Geraldine Byrne Nason, Actor Cillian Murphy, Ireland’s Ambassador to the U.S. Daniel Mulhall and more.

We also connected with new supporters with our online Nollaig na mBanWomen’s Leadership Celebration, and our St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. Indeed, we had over 1,000 attendees at each of these events, with visitors from as far flung as Singapore and New Zealand.

Partnership in-person events are truly irreplaceable. These annual occasions are a chance to reconnect with our communities in Boston, Chicago, New York and elsewhere. The in-person experience allows our supporters to meet and network, and while our current calendar allows our 30th Golf Championship Series to safely return in Chicago, Newport, Rhode Island and Albany, New York, we plan our 2022 Calendar with input from our Board of Directors and supporters.

As we see the light at the end of the tunnel, we plan for the safe return of in-person, indoor events with safety as our top priority. For those friends and supporters who feel comfortable to attend, we can assure compliance with all COVID protocols like contactless registration, limited attendee numbers and more. We look forward to welcoming our friends and supporters once again in 2022, beginning with:

Thursday, January 6 – Nollaig na mBan (Women’s Christmas) Women’s Leadership Celebration – Boston

Thursday, March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – Boston

ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP

The Irish American Partnership connects Irish and Irish American communities directly with education and community programs in Ireland, North and South, honoring our heritage by investing in Ireland's youth. Since its inception in 1986, the Partnership has raised more than $35 Million for Irish children, students, schools, and communities in need, empowering the next generation by equipping teachers and community leaders with the resources they need to educate and inspire. We invest in the people, culture, and ideas that build a peaceful and prosperous Ireland, one that preserves the Irish way of life we cherish while also creating a more inclusive and equitable society for all. Ní neart go cur le chéile – we are stronger together.
