Galway Races Gala A Huge Success!

On Saturday, July 29th, the Irish Cultural Centre Young Professionals hosted their 3rd Annual ICC Galway Races Gala under the ICC tent. The event had a vibrant atmosphere and stylish setup, reminiscent of being back in Ballybrit. All the attendees had a fantastic time.

The signature cocktails, sponsored by Five Farms Irish Cream, were a huge hit, transporting everyone's taste buds back to Ireland and receiving rave reviews from the guests. The night was made even more exciting with Frankie Maloney providing energetic horse racing commentary, which had everyone on their feet, cheering for their favorite horses.

The ICC debut of the Jake Ash Band was a resounding success, with their dynamic country music getting everyone up and jiving on the dance floor. Attendees are already looking forward to having them back for another night under the tent.

Gratitude was expressed to the judges of the best-dressed competitions, namely Martina Curtin, Irene Murray, Andrea Feeney, Liam Harney, Jessica Callaghan, and Maudy Dooher. They did an outstanding job despite the challenging task of selecting the winners.

Special thanks to all of our volunteers & staff, and the J1's (Mark, PJ, Andrew, and Sean), involved in setting up the tent, running the raffles and manning the betting booths for the night. Their efforts and hard work were appreciated and contributed to the overall success of the event.

Overall, the ICC Galway Races Gala was a memorable and enjoyable experience, with delightful cocktails, thrilling horse racing, fantastic music, and a sense of camaraderie that made the night truly special.
