This 15th Annual Luncheon benefits the Edward W. Forry & Mary Casey Forry Foundation for Community Journalism, a 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to preserving and strengthening the tradition of independent, community-focused local news reporting.

Boston Irish Honors is a unique annual program, acclaimed as one of Boston's premiere ethnic Irish autumn event. Each October since 2010, some 400 Boston business, political and social leaders have gathered for a festive luncheon to honor remarkable families and persons who share a Boston Irish heritage, and recognize their admirable endeavors in public service, business and community leadership and celebrate exemplary Irish individuals and their families.

This year's luncheon event is scheduled on October 24, 2025, at 11:30 A.M., as we induct Hon. Claire Cronin, Marty Meehan, Dr. Jim O'Connell, M.D. into the Boston Irish Hall of Honors. The event will benefit the Edward & Mary Casey Forry Foundation for Community Journalism, 501(c)(3) EIN: 26-1193790, dedicated to preserving and strengthening the tradition of independent, community-focused reporting. Our mission is to sustain and advance the vital role of community journalism in fostering civic engagement, social justice, a thriving local democracy and mentor a new generation of journalists.
